Who's In Your Corner?

When you’re not there yet, who’s there for you in the meantime?

Pay attention to the people in your life who are aware of your endeavors but don’t back you up.

They might try to come around once you make it and act like they’ve been your best friend throughout your ups and downs.

Leave them in the dust.

As someone currently on the path to becoming a more influential and known content creator, there are people in my life who know what I’m working on but they don’t cheer me on. They don’t pay attention. They don’t support me.

I’m keeping tabs on every single one of them. And if you think this is a waste of energy or time, it’s not.

The human brain won’t remember everything, but it will never forget how someone made you feel.

I don’t even have to think about it too hard. I just look at each person I know personally and make a mental note of whether or not they’re in my corner during my journey. My brain takes care of the rest.

Of course, it goes without saying that just because people know me in person doesn’t mean they owe me their undying loyalty or support. Maybe my content isn’t their thing, and that’s totally fine.
